Enter a Quote without having to add a customer for accounting-synced Web Portals
There are a number of occasions where I am providing a quote to a prospect and do not want to enter them as a customer. Is it possible to have an option to enter a quote without providing a customer name?

Mallory BlackI agree. Right now we have to put them under a COD account, but it would be nice to have the name of the customer but marked Not setup or something to track better in the Quote list. But since we are Vista synced, we would need something to display not an actual customer so we don't have an import problem.

Haley AdminCurrently, this can be accomplished by setting up a Customer called "PROSPECT" that any prospective quotes are tied to.

Mallory BlackProspect customers would still require someone to set up the Prospect customer in the Customer master under Resources. The people doing the quote are not usually the people to set up customers therefore the quote person would still have to request and wait on the setup. Any chance there is a different workaround?
